Los Angeles, California: December, 2023: The award-winning Barrel Room Chronicles announces its collaboration with Whiskey Network.net, the premier online source for whiskey lifestyle enthusiasts. Following a successful first and second season, these special 2-part episodes included in season 2 of Barrel Room Chronicles will begin airing on Wednesday, November 8 across the WhiskeyNetwork.net platform.
The network will air four very special episodes in two parts, and add to their lineup of compelling stories about notable distilleries and talented distillers from around the world. Barrel Room Chronicles, hosted by Kerry Moynahan and produced by 1st Reel Entertainment is a celebration and exploration of all things spirits, with a specific emphasis on whisky. Kerry is a Certified Bourbon Steward, former bartender, award winning media producer & all-around whiskey aficionado. Each episode examines the many colorful personalities who love, make, and write about whisky, including interviews from distillers, blenders, authors, ambassadors, bartenders, and innovators in the spirits industry.
Winner of a 44th Annual Telly Awards bronze medal (2023), Barrel Room Chronicles Season 2 delves into a wide spectrum of topics, personalities and spirits - sharing conversations and sips with some of the most innovative blenders and characters in the industry, as well as obscure and new talents. November 8 & November 22
Season 2, Episodes 19-20: In this 2-part Veterans Day Special series, Kerry travels to the Ko’olau Distillery in Hawaii, a disabled veteran-owned business founded in 2018, producers of Old Pali Road Whisky and Tradewind Gin. The distillery and its community are focused on giving back to the beautiful island and its finite resources, as well as the local community and military community. Kerry also journeys across the island to the Highland Games and Veterans parade in Waikiki.
December 6 & December 13
Season 2, Episodes 21-22: In this 2-part series finale, Kerry takes viewers on a trek through the J&J McConnell’s Distillery in Northern Ireland, new home to the award-winning McConnell's Irish Whisky. In conversations with Master Distiller Graeme Millar, CEO John Kelly and Brand Manager Sarah Kennedy, Barrel Chronicles invites viewers to experience an awe-inspiring build of the new distillery out of the centuries old Crumlin Road Gaol (Jail) where the passionate team combines experience and history to create some of the most interesting blends in the world.
